Questions
Length is the first check, so measure the boat on its trailer, tongue and motor included. Discover Boating lists bass boats at 16 to 25 feet, pontoons at 16 to 30 feet, and personal watercraft at 8 to 13 feet. Our longest unit at Parkdale Lane is a 10x20, so anything over 20 feet in all will not fit here. A canopy adds height, so ask us about door and ceiling height before you rent.
Yes, if your boat is kept in the water on Lake Texoma, call Texas Parks and Wildlife at (512) 389-4848 before you move it, because the lake is listed as fully infested with zebra mussels. Any boat also has to be drained before it leaves the lake. Make that call before you book your move-in.
No, Army Corps rules say a boat not in use has to leave Corps land and water unless it is kept at an approved area, and Lake Texoma is a Corps lake. Trailers parked past posted limits can be impounded at your expense. A marina slip or a storage unit is the usual answer.
A 10x20 drive-up unit is $135 a month here, with the first 2 months at $33.75 each until December 31, 2026. A 10x10 at $85 a month may suit a smaller jet ski off its trailer, so measure first. See every size at Parkdale Lane on our price list.
Yes, check them when the trailer goes in, since BoatUS notes that trailer tires deteriorate in sunlight and one that sat outdoors may already be damaged. Check the tire age as well as the tread before you tow to the lake.
